Recently I went to visit my friend Vera and her stallionfoal Prakkari, who is a son of our Strákur and Vera's mare, Brúnblesa.
Prakkari is black with a blaze and two blue eyes. He had not been given a name yet, but there were many names in consideration at this point.
I was only planning on taking a few "ordinary" pictures of him, but the little one was obviously a strong and funny personality (the apple doesn't fall far from the tree in that case) so the pictures turned out to be something more special. Recently the other foals went with their mothers to other stallions and he had been the only foal on the field for a very short time. On the same field was an older pinto gelding who was just trying to have a nice and quiet nap. But Prakkari found that rather boring and overrated so he took his need to play out on him. I admire how patient the gelding was with the foal. He only laid back his ears for a couple of times while being "under attack" from all directions.
After this funny scene the foal was named Prakkari which has a very similar meaning to Prankster :)
