Now I really feel guilty about how long it has been since we have posted anything on our website. The last months have been a really busy time, without any big events that needed to be announced. We have started all our youngsters and they are now again with the herd in Hindisvík. Everything went smoothly and we are very satisfied with the outcome. A few horses have been sold and most of them have already arrived at their new homes.
Due to lack of time we have recently been more active on our facebook page ( ) than here.
I put together a mix of pictures that have been taken of our horses over the last months.

f17 fyrstinn

The first horses arrived in Sæból for training. From left: Melkorka, Stakkur and Hanný

f17 raudka2

Yngri-Rauðka is one of the last horses to be pure bred from the old Hindisvik bloodline, back to the year 1880. She shows very interesting movements and has the dark chestnut colour, that many horses from the bloodline have. She is a daughter of Hjörtur frá Hindisvík and has Hlöðvir frá Hindisvík as FF and MF.

Skarði has been started under the rider, but is now again back with the herd in Hindisvík, enjoying to be young and free for a little longer. He has a very kind character and is a promising gelding with very good basic gaits.
