Glæsirs mother was pregnant with him when she was sold to Loftur in Ásbjarnarstaðir, who has been his owner since. He was broken in shortly when he was young and raised a lot of attention.
Glæsir is the last pure bred stallion of the old Hindisvík bloodline. We have gotten to know many of his offsprings who typically have a great trot with a lot of suspension, high leg action and a very good hind step. You can see pictures of his offsprings further down on this site.
