Nökkvi is one of the best horses in Iceland. He won B-Flokkur on Landsmót in Hólar 2016 and was second in B-Flokkur on Landsmót in Reykjavík 2018.
Nökkvi has been evaluated with 9,5 for tölt, trot, form under rider and 9 for neck/withers/shoulders, back and croup, hooves, pace, gallop and spirit. In his highest evaluation he got a total score of 8,66 and 9 for pace. No other horse has won B-Flokkur on Landsmót and gotten 9 for pace in his breeding evaluation. It is worth mentioning that Nökkvi has five times gotten 9,5 for his trot.
Nökkvi has a strong Hornafjörður bloodline in his pedigree. He has Nökkvi 260 frá Hólmi 18 times in his pedigree.
We bought Nökkvi in the fall 2020.
Summer 2023
Nökkvi will be covering mares in Svalbarð, Vatnsnes in 2023. Covering fee is 80.000 isk + VAT.
